Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art recognise and promote excellence in senior visual art education throughout Queensland state and non-state schools.

Since 1990, the program has helped raise community awareness of the degree of sophistication in concepts, diversity of technical competence, and the high standard of visual art education in Queensland secondary schools.​

Nominations for the 2023 program will open in early to mid 2023.

In Reside​nce​​

In Reside​​nce provides Year 10 Queensland visual art students with the opportunity to strengthen their understanding of the academic, experimental, collaborative and reflective nature of contemporary​ visual art and gain an appreciation for the breadth of opportunities in the creative industries.
