In 2020, due to COVID-19, Creative Generation—State Schools Onstage (CGEN) took shape as a 1-hour TV special, in partnership with broadcast sponsor, Network 10. The broadcast filming was done in accordance with Queensland Government Approved COVID Safe Industry Plans—Stage 3.
